The Lagos State Government demolition squad has rendered several vulnerable families homeless in Oworonshoki, Lagos by demolishing and burning down their houses.
The demolition is said to have begun last Monday affecting more than six streets thus far, with more neighborhood facing the threat of demolition this week.
The residents however shared their grievances that they did not receive any notice from the state government and the decision to evacuate their homes just like that was a harsh one.
Streets such as Oluwaseyi, Ogo-oluwa, Oke-Eri, Corner Stone, Community are the affected streets with over 7,000 buildings reduced to ashes as at the time of this report.
