The Lagos State Government in an official statement, released on Tuesday, has notified road users of the 3 day temporary closure of the entrance into CMD road and the access road to Isheri-Olowora on the Shagamu bound carriageway.
The Statement which was posted on the official Instagram page of LASG reads “In line with the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway project by the Federal Government, the Lagos State Government has announced the temporary closure of the entrance into CMD road and the access road to Isheri-Olowora on the Shagamu bound carriageway.
According to this notification, the CMD entrance will be closed from Wednesday,August 9, 2023 to enable contractors “lay the final wearing course”, while the reconstruction of the remaining half of the outer lane of the carriage ways on the Access road to Isheri-Olowora on the Shagamu bound carriageway at Berger bus stop will commence on Thursday, August 10,2023 and the road will be temporarily closed as well during the course of the construction.
Road users especially drivers are thereby implored to cooperate with the traffic management personnel on standby to provide guidance and assistance on getting to their destinations.
