UI REDUCES WORKDAYS FOR STAFF

by Emmanuel Oni

The University of Ibadan has directed its staff to work for only three days a week, according to a statement released by the institution. This decision was made in light of the recent removal of fuel subsidies, which has led to a significant increase in petrol prices.

The university recognized that this has created economic difficulties for many Nigerians, particularly those who commute to work every day and have seen an increase in transportation costs and the cost of living.
