Association of Bursars Of Nigerian Universities elects new Vice Chairman

The Bamidele Olumilua University of Education Science and Technology’s Bursar has emerged as the new Vice Chairman of the Association of Bursars Of Nigerian Universities.

The new elected vice chairman, Mr Babatunde Apata was elected in an unopposed election which was held during the ABNU special virtual session on August 5, 2023.

Furthermore, the vice chancellor of the Institution, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa has lauded and celebrated Mr Babatunde Apata for representing the institution very well. The VC convey his message in an interview, In his words, “The university authorities are proud of his achievement as a worthy ambassador of BOUESTI and urged him to use his new position to promote professional competence, fiscal discipline and accountability among the custodians and managers of funds in the nation’s varsities”

ABNU is an association that provides professional leadership for the financial managers and heads of support services of Nigerian universities, focusing on effectiveness, efficiency, and probity, to ensure proper accountability of universities funds,”
