“Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Femi Adebayo Salami, has revealed that he sold some of his properties to finance the production of his latest film, Jagun Jagun. Adebayo said that the film, which took him five years to produce, was inspired by his father, the veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, and his role as a cultural ambassador. He added that the film was an opportunity to showcase the Yoruba culture and tradition to the world.”
Femi Adebayo, also credited his faith as a key factor in the success of his hit movie, Jagun Jagun.
In his words, the actor revealed that he sold his properties and used the proceeds from his previous film, Agbeshinkole, to finance the production of Jagun Jagun.
The actor stated that he chose not to rely on external funding from finance houses or individuals, instead placing his faith in the project and selling his properties to fund it.
