NNL: Ekiti United Seek Governor’s Intervention in Club Activities

All doesn’t seem to be well in the camp of Nigeria National League (NNL) side Ekiti United FC, after the team’s loss in their last game.

 

The Ado-Ekiti-based team lost at home 1-2 to Coal City United in their game week 2 encounter at the Kayode Fayemi Stadium, in the state capital.

The players of the club have called for the attention of the State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to come to the aid of the club.

 

They pleaded that it had become a chaotic atmosphere and things had degenerated due to poor welfare.

 

The players claimed their lives were at risk at an alarming rate. Hence, their plea for the Governor to come to their aid.
