The Napoli forward enjoyed a scintillating year for club and country, he fought off fierce competition from Achraf Hakimi and Mohammed Salah to win the prestigious award.

Last season, Osimhen led Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years with a series of match-winning performances.
He also won the Serie A top scorer award with 26 goals in 32 games to become the first African to achieve the feat.
